In March, was held at Kira Hospital some intensive training sessions for 9 surgical trainees, to enhance their skills and expertise in the field of surgery. The trainees followed two separate modules.

The training sessions, meticulously crafted to enhance the trainees’ proficiency, were designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in surgical techniques. The first module on basic surgical skills, held on March 8 and 9, aimed to equip the trainees with fundamental competencies essential for their surgical journey. This foundational training underscored the importance of mastering core skills at the inception of their surgical training.

Following, the Trauma course, held on March 29 and 30, delved into advanced concepts and practical scenarios, preparing the residents to handle complex trauma cases with precision and expertise. The course emphasized the critical nature of rapid and effective responses in trauma situations, highlighting the significance of continuous learning and skill development in the surgical domain.

The main aim of these training sessions at Kira Hospital was to instill the right fundamentals in residents from the earliest stages of their surgical training. By providing a structured and immersive learning environment, the training aimed to produce a cohort of skilled and knowledgeable surgical professionals, ready to make a significant impact in the field.
